Pedigree

Datix has been a pioneer in the field of patient safety since 1986. It was founded in the UK by a leading healthcare lawyer acting for hospitals and so has benefited from the experience of defending over 20,000 claims arising from staff and patient safety incidents. 

Today Datix customers include more than 70% of the UK National Health Service and we are growing internationally with customers in Europe, Australia, Canada and the United States.

Values

Datix aims to help healthcare organisations build a culture and practice that drives excellence in patient safety. We recruit and retain people committed to the healthcare sector and continually invest in our software and services to ensure that we integrate best practice and learning. Every year over 200 organisations attend our user groups in order to share experience and promote best practice in the field of patient safety.

Datix supports Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), or MSF, an independent humanitarian medical aid organisation. MSF are committed to providing medical aid where it is most needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender and also to raising awareness of the plight of the people we help.
